MATANOS LO’EVYONIM!
You can fulfill your Mitzvah of giving monetary gifts to the poor, by giving to our Purim Fund for the local needy.
All your gifts for the poor will be distributed to multiple families and individuals!
For the 45th consecutive year, Chabad of South Broward will be distributing Shalach Monos - Purim gifts, to thousands of men, women and children in nursing homes, hospitals, retirement homes and schools.
See below a description of how we help the poor every single day of the year!
PLEASE PARTNER WITH US!!!
Chabad of South Broward's CHAI Assistance Program, with support from the Jewish Federation of Broward County, provides critical financial aid to Jewish residents in crisis for rent, utilities, food, and other needs. We help prevent homelessness by securing affordable housing, covering security deposits and first month's rent, and even furnishing new homes through local thrift shop collaborations. Our team also assists with online applications for food stamps, social security, Medicaid, and health insurance.
We stand out by not only providing financial aid but ensuring clients are fully settled and secure. We collaborate with Goodman Jewish Family Services, Meals on Wheels, local stores, pharmacies, and thrift shops to maximize our support. Founded in 1980, Chabad of South Broward has served the community for decades, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and high inflation, meeting the needs of those facing barriers such as transportation or technology access.
