What is Friendship Circle?
Friendship Circle of South Broward is a non-profit organization. Our goal is to provide every individual with special needs the support friendship and inclusion that they deserve.
The Friendship Circle provides assistance and support to individuals with special needs and their families by providing recreational, social, educational, and vocational programming.
Since the start of the pandemic, the need for Friendship Circle has become very apparent. With kids stuck at home and nothing to do, more families than ever have joined our program and our teen volunteer registration has tripled in size. We have been doing outdoor friends at home visits, special activity boxes, and virtual nights out for moms. With your help, we can help more families and give them the support they need during these challenging times!
How does a Match Campaign work?
Running an operation like Friendship Circle requires a big investment of time, energy, and capital. While we work tirelessly to provide these crucial services, the expenses of running Friendship Circle can be daunting. Rather than charging membership fees or tuition, which many families with special needs children cannot afford, we rely on the generosity of the community. To that end, we are running a matching campaign to help Friendship Circle thrive this year. Our generous matchers will donate $15,000 to our program, provided that it is matched by an equal donation from our you, our community. For this month only, your dollar will have double the impact!
