Shabbaton FAQs

Our South Broward group at the FLL gate
  • The Shabbaton is open to all Jewish high school teens.
  • Use code TEEN5787. Cteen members get an additional discount
  • We will be leaving from FLL on Thursday, Feb 25th in the evening and returning on Sunday, February 28th at approximately 11 PM
  • The shabbaton program includes a trip to Manhattan on Friday, a Shabbat with top notch speakers, workshops and games, Times Square takeover and concert for havdallah on Saturday night followed by an after party/carnival in Brooklyn, a trip to the Ohel of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and a grand closing ceremony.
  • The price is fully inclusive (all meals in NY as well as the flights, accommodations in a short term rental apartment, transportation within New York, a carry-on suitcase, the full Shabbaton program and trips, and chaperones)
  • Security is very tight during the shabbaton. There will be police officers stationed at every corner in the Crown Heights, Brooklyn neighborhood in which we stay, as well as on every subway train car on the way to Times Square. The FBI counterterrorism unit secures times square and all venues require a Shabbaton badge to gain entry. Contact us for the full security protocol: [email protected] · 954-559-6230.

This is an amazing weekend of Jewish unity and pride and something every teen should experience at least once during high school. There will be teens there from all around the world. Any teen who's ever been on the trip talks about it for years afterwards.
