On Friday January 4^th, there will be a fun-filled and inspirational Shabbaton at the headquarters of Chabad of South Broward, featuring Rabbi Abba Perelmuter, a noted historian from Long Beach, California, and Cantor Yossy Lebovics, principal of the Chaya Aydel Seminary. Chabad of South Broward is located at 1295 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd in Hallandale Beach.

Delicious chinese kosher food will be served and there will be a special program for children. Services Friday night begins at 5:30 with dinner at 7:00. Rabbi Perelmuter, Rabbi of Shul by the Shore, is renowned for his sharp wit and tremendous skills with people of all backgrounds. Cantor Rabbi Lebovics combines the cantorial tradition of Yossele Rosenblatt with the modern music of Shlomo Carlebach and Avraham Fried.

 

Cost for the Shabbaton, is $25 for adults and $10 for children under 13.

Accommodations at a reduced rate will be available at nearby luxury hotels.

Services Saturday morning begins 8AM with Tehillim, the book of Psalms, as is customary when the new month is blessed, and Shacharit at 9:30.
