The Honorable Keith and Jessica Wasserstrom will receive the Community Leadership Award at Chabad of South Broward’s 25th Annual Dinner, to be held Sunday, March 19th, at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Florida.

Entertainment includes a Purim masquerade with great prizes for both children and adults, live music, Purim goodies for the kids, Purim arts & crafts, Mordechai on the Shushan horse with other Purim characters, and fun free rides and games for children of all ages. Admission to the festival is free, and there will also be a free Bar-b-que.

Rabbi Shlomo Amar, the Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, spoke for one half hour this past Monday, March 6, to the young ladies of the Chaya Aydel Seminary, Florida's only Teachers Seminary for young Jewish women.

In what is anticipated to be the largest Chanukah Festival ever, organizers of the 27th Annual South Florida Chassidic Chanukah Festival are expecting an overflow crowd of some 10,000 men, women, and children, Wednesday, December 20th, 7:30pm, at the McArthur High School Football Stadium in Hollywood Florida.
