Mother & Daughter Event  February 10th 2009

We raffled off an iPod Shuffle. We ate Pizza! We Baked & shaped Delicious Cookies! We learned how to dance Israeli Style!

Shabbat Party & Program: January 24th.

For the first time ever we had our first Shabbat party for kids. The kids came & prayed a little bit, then they learned about the Parshah. Then they had an incredible lunch, with delicious desserts. It ended off with big prizes given out to some of the kids.

Winter Camp: December 29th(2008) - January 2nd(2009)

Camp went by so fast! The schedule was so packed with fun activities & trips it felt like one day. The kids went Bowling, Ice Skating, Go Karting, Arcades, Biking on the Beach, on the Huge Roller Coaster. Camp ended off with the biggest suprize of all: the kids went for a ride in a Stretched Hummer.

Estimated count: 30.

 

 

December 28th(2008): Chanukah Festival at Gulfstream Park.

At first we didn't think we would be able to pull off the event(for may reasons), but in the end we did, and what a successful event it was. Avraham Fried was brilliant, &  Ethan Bortnick was charming & funny. The area was of the concert was gorgeous & spacious( the Tikis were nice, but way too many). Next year we have to find a even bigger venue.

We raffled of Heat Tickets, Panther Tickets($175 per ticket), Disney Suite, & one free session for Camp Gan Israel Summer Camp.

Estimated crowd: 4500.

 

 

December 12th(2008): Friday Night Shabbaton (In Memory of the Holtzbergs)

It was a night to remember. In Chabad of Mumbai they had the custom of everyone getting up & saying something. We carried on that custom. Mayor Cooper, & Commissioner London joined us.  The food was off the charts.

November 20th(2008): Father & Son Event

Fathers & Sons crafted their own Mezuzah Cases. Than they played an awesome game of Bingo. We would have went all night if the kids didn't have school the next day. The night ended off with two raffles for $50 gift cards to GameStop.

November 6th(2008): Mother & Daughter Event

Who ever thought that this would be one of our biggest hits. Mothers & daughters made beautiful CandleStick necklaces(after eating delicious pizza). Then they shaped their own Fruit Kabobs (they looked great), and then everybody entered into a raffle for 2 $50 Target gift cards.

October 21st(2008): Simchat Torah Bash

You would think that people would be wiped out after two events within the last week. But that wasn't the story. The place was packed. Adrenaline was pumping. Excitement filled the air. We had to Dinners, first a Lavish Buffet, followed by an exquisite sit down Dinner.

October 19th (2008) - Sukkas Spectacular

We never had such good rides: Spiderman, CandyLand, Pirates Revenge, Huge Obstacle Course, Sesame Street etc..

And how about those free raffles:  Disney Suite, Heat Tickets, Panther Tickets, Winter Camp Admission.

October 13th (2008) - Dinner in the Hut.

We thought the Sukkah was big enough. But we were dead wrong. Somehow or another we were all able to fit inside. The weather was great (i twas raining the whole day and it stopped an hour before dinner). There was an excellent kids program, and the food was awesome.

September 28th (2008) - Shofar Factory

Each kid got to make their own Shofar.The best part was that every kid got to learn how to blow their own Shofar. Lets not forget that delicious hard apple candy that everyone got a piece of.

September 12th (2008) - Friday Night Shabbaton

Incredible crowd. Lots of new people. Great way to start of the new School year. Crowd estimate: 145

Over 75 kids came on Sunday and baked delicious Matzah. All the kids went home with there own Tzivos Hashem magazine.

Suddenly everybody forgot about the Weston Diplomat!

What do you expect especially when #1 The inside of the shul was stunningly decorated! #2 The food ( we got to choose it) was very fresh and delicious. Which includes the shmorgesborg, main course, and viennese dessert table. 

But that's not all:

For entertainment we had the Child prodigy Ethan Bortnick play for twenty minutes.

And the Honorees were:

Sheriff Al Lamberti.

Robin  Ricki 

 Michael Verbitsky

 & Tamara and Gedale Fenster.

What an evening it was!

First the girls came with there mothers  (some girls came with there grandmothers) and had delicious pizza!

Than the girls with there mom sat down and read a few stories about our sages!

Next was arts & crafts. Each girl crafted there own Candlestick!

Last but not least the girls played the mother daughter game with ice cream!

Did i mention that before  the girls left there were 2 raffles to 2 $30 gift card in Claire's.

 

 

 

Friday March 21

With the help of the Seminary girls and  many volunteers in the community there were "2000" meshalach Manot distributed in many Schools, Nursing Homes, and Hospitals.

We would like to thank all those that took part in all ways. Thank you!

All I can say is. There was not a seat in the house that wasn't being used.

There must have been 220 people that came to hear the Megilah. Thank G-d that there was enough food, and more importantly the Buffet ( Lasagna, Pasta Primavera, Greek Salad etc.) was incredibly delicious!

 There was so much to do with so little time. I'm speaking about the Pre-Purim Festival!

There were eight rides to choose from including:  Lazer Tag.  Double Trouble. Ferris Wheel. Mini-Go round. Floating Baseball. Bounce House. And those are just to name a few.

 

All the rides were free and so was admission.We had over '130" (380 people all together) young families join us today for one of our most exciting Pre-Purim Festival. Check out our pictures.

 

 

Friday March 7 

 What an unbelievable "Kids Shabbaton". The kids with there families enjoyed a delicious Shabbat Dinner.

Our Dinner featured:

Exciting interactive games

Kids menu

Lots of candy

Ice Cream

Fun Shabbat Songs.

Each kid went home with there own prize.
