Chabad of South Broward is expanding its activities for women and girls only, and invites everyone to join our regular free Wednesday Night Learning Program (Starting October 20, 7:00 p.m.) For one hour every week you can join with a young lady from the Chaya Aydel Seminary to study anything you'd like! There are no restrictions: this program aims to help all local women and girls delve into the beauty and intricacies of Hebrew language, Psalms, Jewish philosopy, the role of the Jewish woman, Why Kosher?, and many other topics which interest you!

We are now offering, at the same time, Jewish bedtime stories for children. Rabbi Raphael Tennenhaus, dean of the Seminary and executive vice president of Chabad of South Broward, expresses joy and enthusiasm for this new program. “Many popular bookstores, such as Borders, offer bedtime stories for children, but through the efforts of the young women in our college, boys and girls ages 3 to 8 will now have a chance each week before they go to sleep to hear stories of the heroes of our people and become familiar with the beauty of their heritage”, the Rabbi remarked. Mothers and older girls will have the opportunity to study the Jewish subjects of their choice with a Seminary student, while the little children will be told Jewish Bedtime Stories.

We are also beginning our new season of the Rosh Chodesh Women's Group which meets monthly. This is a great social and educational event where we offer such fun-filled activities as cooking Kosher Japanese, flower arranging and handwriting analysis. Exciting guest speakers from far and near entertain and inspire our participants, and fabulous programs are planned!
